Senior Stretching

Our goal is to assist our clients with healthy aging. As we age, staying limber and flexible becomes important. Flexibility helps us keep good posture, our bones strong and backs straighter. We also need to maintain our range of motion sufficient enough to perform daily tasks, but MOST importantly, it helps prevent injury and falls.

Stretching also improves the delay in the onset of certain diseases like diabetes. It helps relieve pain from arthritis, improves our mood and mental health. Strength and endurance are important for maintaining independence. Flexibility of our muscles and tendons is necessary for most functional activities.

Benefits of stretching help improve the mobility of our “soft tissue” which includes muscle, skin and the connective tissue surrounding our muscles and joints.

REMEMBER – It’s NEVER too late to start stretching !!!
